Wii U

News of the millennium folks, right here and now.

At yet another one of the company’s quarterly investor briefs (read: misery fests), Nintendo president Satoru Iwata himself confirmed that the Wii U would break with tradition and allow multiple user accounts.

This is, of course, a much demanded feature from anyone who has owned a Nintendo console in the last 10 years, frustrated by downloads and other digital content being tied to the machine, rather than an account.

No additional details on the account system have been revealed, although Iwata says he believes his company can “change perceptions” regarding its online presence.

Iwata says there will be plenty more internet and digital info to come, but not just yet.
