It’s official. Assassin’s Creed III will jump from a precarious height onto store shelves this October 31st, and feature the American revolution as its setting.

Incredibly, the game will be out for the 360, PS3, and PC this Halloween, but Ubisoft has confirmed that the title is also in development for Wii U. Of course, no word on the launch date for that particular version.
This is yet another sign that Nintendo’s presence in the home console space may finally be treated as an equal by third party developers, who have been finding excuses to skip the company’s systems since the N64.
