Guys, I’m really just too good to you. Last time I talked about Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D, I mentioned that Rebecca Chambers would be a playable character in the upcoming 3DS game (due out June 28). Now, I bring word that your old pal Barry Burton will be at your thumbs as well.

Barry is perhaps best known for uttering the gaming-world famous line “Jill, here’s a lockpick. It might come in handy if you, the master of unlocking, take it with you.” in the first Resident Evil. Barry’s also a weapons specialist with S.T.A.R.S.

He joins a formidable cast of Resident Evil hall-of-famers, including Chris and Claire Redfield, Jack Krauser, Hunk, Jill Valentine, Albert Wesker, and the aforementioned Rebecca Chambers.
