Welcome back to Getting Wii Fit, my weekly fitness blog.
I have to report another slow week of Fit-ting, with just two doses of the game logged. That translates into not a lot of movement on the numbers, with my BMI going from 23.15 to 23.46, my weight going from 152.8 to 154.8, and my Wii Fit Age going from 28 to 32.
I did have a bit of a breakthrough yesterday which may point to improved activity going forward. Inspired by a quick Wii Fit session, I decided to do as many crunches as I could for as long as I could. I worked ahead on future stories for Splodinator in between bouts of raucous crunchinating.
I imagine it would be a lot of fun to blast people with a rocking set of abs lurking under my shirt, just waiting to be sprung. It’s become a sort-of sub-goal of mine.
That story does bring up an interesting point about Wii Fit: the game is somewhat limited in how much exercise it can get out of a person, but it is a good way to wake up and warm up your body. Even a few minutes of yoga and strength training with Wii Fit reliably gets me out of a mid-day lazy fest.

Got something to say? Go for it!
