E3 2014 Microsoft Conference:

Hosted by new head of XBox, Phil Spencer
-opened by assuring crowd that the conference would be all about games
-closed by telling audience XBox would continue to be for them
-almost no mention of Kinect at all beyond brief appearance by Dance Central Disney Fantasia Music Evolved

The non-surprises:
-Opened with Call of Duty Advanced Warfare
-Forza Horizon 2
-Assassin’s Creed Unity, now starring 4p co-op
-Dragon Age: Inquisition
-Sunset Overdrive (crazy, third person, trailer mocked CoD)
-Fable Legends (more co-op)
-Witcher 3
-Tom Clancy’s The Division
-Crackdown 3

The sadness:
-promoting Project Spark, Conker can be used (in other words – make your own Rare games)
-Ken Lobb brought on stage to announce the return of Phantom Dust

Original games (but still multi-platform):
-Left4Dead spiritual successor “Evolve” – multiplayer sci-fi FPS
-Rise of the Tomb Raider

Actual fun:
-Dead Rising 3 DLC: Super Ultra Dead Rising 3 Arcade Remix Hyper Edition EX Plus a (cosplay as your favourite Capcom characters)
-Ori and the Blind Forest loks amazing, although I don’t know what it is
-Hideki Kamiya introed Platinum exclusive Scalebound – Monster Hunter starring Joffrey Baratheon
-Halo 5

Halo Master Chief Collection:
-Halo 1 – 4
-all the multi maps from Halos 1-4
-Halo 2 fully remastered
-1080p 60fps
-$59.99
