Sales tracker Media Create has released their list of the 1000 best selling games in Japan for 2010. Monster Hunter Freedom 3 for the PSP took first with nearly 4 million sold. That was followed by Pokémon Black and White, which took second and third respectively (combined, the two would have easily taken first with nearly 5 million sold).

Other big winners for the year included Wii Party in fourth and New Super Mario Bros. Wii in fifth.

The top ranking GBA game (yes, GameBoy Advance) was another Pokémon game, Emerald. It nabbed 779th place with some 7,724 copies sold. Fire Red and Leaf Green were also found kicking around at 1056th and 1333rd.

Among the top 1000 titles, 291 were on DS, 287 on PSP, 108 on Wii, 176 on PS3, 76 on the 360, 61 on the PS2, and just 1 on GBA.
